  • WHAT MAKES THE POST OFFICE CHRISTMAS CLUB SCHEME ANY DIFFERENT TO OTHER CHRISTMAS CLUB SCHEMES?

    It’s easy - your funds are held by the Post Office® and Bank of Ireland until spent. Funds are held in an accountthat is registered to the card holder. If you lose the card it can be cancelled and replaced. Also, your funds are protected by the Irish Deposit Protection Scheme

    It’s convenient - you present your Post Office Christmas Club card at any one of 11,500 Post Office branches and hand over money to Post Office® counter staff. In November the cards become “Live” and you can buy gifts and Christmas groceries at participating retailers or exchange them at Post Office® branches for One4All® Gift Cards.

    Good value - club members who participate in the scheme throughout the year will be rewarded with a loyalty bonus booklet of special offers from participating retailers.

  • HOW EASY IS IT TO START PUTTING MONEY ASIDE FOR CHRISTMAS WITH THE POST OFFICE®?

    It’s very simple. Just complete a form at your local Post Office®. You will then receive a plastic card, and every time you want to put money on the card, you simply hand over the card and the money at a Post Office® branch.

  • CAN I JOIN THE POST OFFICE® CHRISTMAS CLUB?

    Yes, if you are aged over 18 and are a resident in England, Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland.

  • WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REGISTER?

    You will receive a welcome letter from us to confirm that your Post Office Christmas Club card is registered to you.

  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT THAT CAN BE PUT ON THE CARD?

    £2 is the minimum amount that can be put on to the Post Office Christmas Club card and the maximum balance permitted is £1000.

  • HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO SPEND MY MONEY? ?

    You can spend your money between the 1 November and 31 January. Any money that you do not use can be carried forward to the following year.

  • CAN I HAVE MORE THAN 1 CARD?

    No, only 1 card is allowed.

  • HOW DO I FIND OUT MY CARD BALANCE?

    You can find out your card balance online or by calling 0845 0822 480*. Just quote the order number on the front of your card and follow the instructions. Please ensure you keep a record of your card number and paying in receipts as 'proof of ownership' as these will be required if you wish to redeem your balance.

    *Calls may be monitored and recorded for training purposes

  • WHAT IF YOU LOSE YOUR CHRISTMAS CLUB CARD OR IT'S STOLEN?

    It's important that you take all reasonable precautions with your card and that you don't divulge your card number or any other card information to anyone. In the unfortunate event that your card is lost or stolen we can re-issue a card very quickly. However there is a £5 charge to cover the administration costs associated with replacing a card.

  • WHAT TYPES OF RETAILERS ARE ON YOUR SCHEME?

    We have a full complement of retailers giving you access to fashion & footwear, grocery, electrical, home and garden, motor and outdoor, sports, drinks retailers, toys and many, many more.

  • WHICH RETAILERS ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE SCHEME?

  • HOW DOES THE ONE4ALL GIFT CARD FIT IN TO THE SCHEME?

    The Post Office Christmas Club card can be used at 17,000 outlets nationwide across a wide variety of retailers. However, if you wish to send someone a gift card you can also buy One4all Gift Cards at your local Post Office branch using the funds on your Post Office Christmas Club card to make the purchase.

  • WHAT IF I NEED ACCESS TO MY MONEY BEFORE 1ST NOVEMBER?

    If you need to withdraw your money early you can close your account and receive the full balance on your account less a £5.00 redemption fee. You must not use your Card after you ask us to repay the balance to you.

  • WHAT ARE THE "CONSUMER OFFERS" THAT YOU ARE GIVING AS A BONUS?

    We will have a range of different offers from many of our retail partners that will make your money go even further. These offers will be either product based e.g. a retailer providing some money off festive products or simply offers that reward you when you spend their vouchers/card in certain retailers, i.e. £5 off when you spend £50. A booklet of offers will be posted to Christmas Club members in October.

 
Card Information

Members can find their account number printed on the front of their cards.

 

The Verification Number is a three digit number that is printed on the back of your card. It is located on the signature panel, following your account number.
